Mili Poljicak43Game context
Mili Poljicak and Max Schoenhaus meet for the first time in the opening round of the Augsburg Challenger on outdoor red clay. The Croatian, ranked No. 264 with a 36-17 record this season and titles on the surface, brings greater experience and a stronger recent clay mark than the 19-year-old German, who sits at No. 318 after a junior career highlighted by a Wimbledon doubles crown. Both players post comparable overall win rates near 66 percent over the past year, though Schoenhaus has logged limited Challenger success and recent losses on clay. Home-country support and the even implied probabilities reflected in current pricing underscore the matchup’s competitive balance on a surface where baseline consistency and break-point conversion often decide outcomes.
