Game context

Namibia hosts Zimbabwe in the FNB T20 Tri-Series at Windhoek’s new ground, with each side facing the other twice in the double round-robin before the September 6 final. Namibia enters on strong recent form, having dominated associate opponents and holding home advantage on familiar pitches, while Zimbabwe arrives after a 2-1 bilateral series win over the Eagles in September 2025 and recent T20 World Cup exposure. Key squad updates include Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza leading a 15-man group featuring the return of leg-spinner Graeme Cremer and batter Kundai Matigimu, versus Namibia’s side under Gerhard Erasmus that emphasizes all-round depth and local conditions knowledge. Head-to-head T20I results remain closely contested, with outcomes often hinging on powerplay execution, spin variations, and death bowling under the tri-series schedule.

However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
