Minnesota Twins vs. Athletics

Game context
The Minnesota Twins enter the series against the Athletics with a stronger overall profile, holding a 64-68 record in third place in the AL Central compared to the Athletics' 51-81 mark in last place in the AL West. On August 25, right-hander Taj Bradley (9-5, 3.90 ERA) faces left-hander Gage Jump (5-8, 4.83 ERA) at Sutter Health Park, giving Minnesota a clear edge in the projected starter matchup. Both clubs carry extensive injury lists that have thinned rotations and lineups, while the Twins recently snapped a three-game skid with a 9-6 win on August 24. Trader consensus reflects the Twins' superior run differential, home/road splits, and head-to-head results this season, though late-season bullpen usage and potential weather factors at the Sacramento venue could influence outcomes.
