Oksana Selekhmeteva, the No. 9 seed and world No. 93, faces lucky loser Capucine Jauffret in the second round of the 2026 WTA 125 Philadelphia event on outdoor hard courts. Selekhmeteva holds a 754-spot ranking advantage and brings main-draw experience, though her 2026 record stands at 18-22 with several three-set hard-court matches. She advanced past Taylah Preston in three sets in the opener. Jauffret, an 18-year-old ranked 847th, has compiled mostly ITF results this season with limited success against higher-level competition and no prior WTA main-draw wins. The pair has no head-to-head history. Trader pricing reflects the steep experience and ranking gap on a surface where Selekhmeteva has posted an 8-11 main-draw mark, tempered by her recent inconsistency and Jauffret’s potential to extend sets through aggressive returns.
