Veronika Erjavec6⁵66³Game context
Veronika Erjavec and Julia Grabher meet in the first round of the WTA 125 Ennoble Care Philly Open on outdoor hard courts, with both players ranked in the mid-100s and carrying similar 2026 win-loss records near .500. Grabher holds the sole head-to-head edge after defeating Erjavec 6-1, 6-4 in the Kitzbühel Challenger semifinals on clay last month, where she also reached the final. Erjavec advanced through earlier rounds there before the loss but has struggled more recently, including a Cincinnati qualifying exit on hard. Grabher enters after securing a US Open main-draw spot via withdrawals, adding momentum, though both have historically posted stronger results on clay than hard. Serve-return patterns and break-point conversion rates show only marginal edges in recent data, leaving the matchup closely contested on this surface.
